Another Almost Perfect Product Review

SC Magazine has just published a new product review of BigFix.

In the review, BigFix gets a five star grades for Features, Performance, Documentation, Support, Value for Money and Overall Rating. The only area of slightly faint praise came in the form of a four star rating for Ease of Use, but I’m sure that anyone reading this on the Forum can deal with that. Still, 34 out of 35 possible stars is nothing to sneeze at.

I don’t want to sound jaded or complacent, but we have become accustomed to “editor’s choice” level rankings in product reviews. This was certainly the case throughout 2006 in product reviews at Technology and Business Magazine (Australia),

Network World.

Network World even called BigFix one of the best products of any kind it reviewed last year

One thing we particularly appreciated about the SC Magazine Award is that they evaluated us as a “Authentication, Access Control, ID Management” product. Heretofore, reviewers saw us as the best patch management solution on the planet. Not only is the message getting across that we are about multifunction security and systems management, our technology base and execution is strong enough to position us as a leader in the field, playing catch-up to no one.

At minimum, if anyone out there has bosses who wonder why they chose BigFix, the above product reviews should help build a case.
