The response file , when retrieved is about 60 MB .
Most times , when we use the tool , we get after a while :
Error : HTTP Error 18: An error occured while transferring data from the server: transfer closed with 11012 bytes remaining to read .
This error is replicated in every Internet connection (ADSL / Other ) . and in multiple phisical locations and on every OS (Windows XP, Windows 7 , Windows 2003 , Windows 2008R2 …) .
How often does the problem occur? Every time you run the Airgap tool? Is it ever successful at getting the response file?
The error indicates a problem with the network connectivity between the machine the Airgap tool is running from and the sync.bigfix.com content servers.
Unfortuntely, it does not look like there is any debugging logging level that can be enabled.
A Wireshark ( http://www.wireshark.org/
) packet capture may help to trace why there is a timeout occurring.
You may have been trying to run the Airgap tool at a time the sync servers were experiencing problems or bottlenecks.
Have you tried running the Airgap tool from a different machine that can connect to the Internet?
I am trying to generate response file of Air Gap request from last three weeks on different machines from different sites, but getting the same error message “Air Gap times out” or sometimes “Error: Unexpected HTTP response: 403 Forbidden”. i have attached the screen shot of Error Message.
