Air Gap solution using gathering computer

Hi,

Background:

We have a network which is standalone and not able to access Internet.

The only PC that able to access internet is administrator own machine. {That will act as a gathering computer}

Have read through the following implementation

Finding:

Gathering computer if not installed any Bigfix software, just running the MakeMirrorArchive.exe, it complain no BES directory

After installed the BES server, than the executable able to work.

Question is: How to make the gathering computer work without installing it as BES Server?

Hi All,

I tested in a less secure environment and everything went through fine. I belief is because of the network setup.
