After uninstalling WAS ND on a server, ILMT still shows it as installed

Hi all,

After uninstalling WAS ND on an HP-UX server, License Metric Tool still shows it as installed after running the scan and uploading data, referencing the following path which no longer exists:

/opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/swidtag

From the installation log:

Then, multiple directories under /opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer were not removed.

Furthermore, directories are still present under the path: /opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer

Could you please help me to confirm whether removing the remaining /opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer directory manually would be sufficient for ILMT to stop detecting WebSphere on this server, or if additional cleanup steps are required?

If the ILMT detection is based on that swidtag file, then yes, that should be sufficient. It's rather difficult to be sure without knowing all the details of your environment though, and which pieces of WebSphere may have been left behind by the unclean removal.
