Adobe Reader 11.0.06 fixlet fails, target summary may report failed, completed, or pending restart. Even after restarts, Reader never updates. Relevance just grows and grows, despite deployments. Bad relevance or action in the fixlet?

Sounds like what happens is the fixlet is relevant initially but doesn’t become non-relevant after you apply the patch. Can you run the Adobe Reader 11.0.06 patch on the endpoints TEM specifies or do you see an error message pop up?

Something else to check. In the description of the patch it says:

Microsoft Windows Update KB930627 is required for both Windows XP SP2 (x64) and Windows Server 2003 SP2 (x64)
.”
Wondering if it’s failing on certain machines that don’t have this KB installed. I looked at the relevance for the 11.06 patch and it doesn’t include that patch relevance as a pre-requisite so systems that don’t have KB930627 will still show relevant for the Adobe 11.06 Update. Might be worth seeing if the ones failing don’t have KB930627 installed, install it if it does, then retry the Adobe Update and see if it succeeds.
