Adding Icons to Offered Programs in BigFix Self-Service Application

Hey everyone,

We’re planning to role out BigFix Self-Service Application to our users after we have finished testing, one thing I couldn’t find much information on was adding icons to the programs that are offered.

Currently the program show up as gift boxes, we would like to see it as the example shown below:

I have set up these programs using the Windows Software Distribution Wizard with a mixture of .exe and .msi files. If someone could offer insight on how we can add icons to our offered programs that would be a great help.

Icons are usually set in the WebUI by adding an icon to a custom content or to a SWD package. There is a way to manually add the icons as mentioned in the documentation but it’s generally a lot easier and less error-prone if you do it in the WebUI.

Currently, there is no way to do it in the BES Console only.

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll go ahead and try adding it through WebUI and move on from there.
