I need some guidance regarding the Web Report, the client wants to add a Datasource from a different base, but the URL requested on the WebReport console is the application URL or the path to the database, and which port do i need to request to be open besides the 52311.
The DB is not on the same server as the Web Report.
My understanding is that if you are using a version earlier than 8.2 you will need database ports open between all bigfix servers and the aggregated web reports servers in addition to 52311. With 8.2 you should just need port 52311.
You will provide the application URL and give it whatever name you want.
So…both app server and DB server must have a route and 52311 port open to the server that i want to map the new datasouce.
I’m using the 9.2 version.
My understanding is that if you are using 9.2 your aggregated web reports server only needs port 52311 access to the BigFix server itself
