I am trying to deploy linux patches (RHSA-2017 2788) on Linux Red Hat 7.5 machine but getting below error, anyone experience this issue before please assist.

Have you configured Manage download Plug-in in BigFix Console to perform the Linux patching, If yes than basically, Management Extender plugin reported an error. Please cross check the Plug-in log file to narrow down the issue.
-> I would recommend not to deploy superseded patches for Linux or any other OS because the Superseded patch will have Invalid action content or Relevance which will cause issue while deployment.
But In your case I suspect issue is with Manage download Plug-in.
