Action Status Pending Restart but after restart it failed

Hi Ma’am/Sirs,

I have deployed a test patch to 3 server (MS2019).

the Status changed to “Pending Restart” then changed again to “Failed” after a restart.

Do you have any experience regarding this?

Try adding an exit to the end. exit {exit code of action}

Sorry I missed this thread earlier. The symptoms indicate that the fixlet is still relevant after the restart. Either the product failed to install properly, or there may be a problem with the relevance.

A common cause for that with the Cumulative Updates is not installing the prerequisite Servicing Stack Updates first, so please give that a check.
