I am new in bigfix , i I have setup of remote data base in bigfix.
Q : User account is not shown in ODBC connection which used to communicate with data base server for bigfix server?
Any one can help me
It’s a common misconception, but ODBC connections never store credentials themselves - the credentials you type in to odbcadm32 are simply used for the connection test and are not stored for later use.
If the remote database is using Windows Integrated Auth then the BigFix Server services need to be set to “Log On As” the service account that has database access, in the Windows Services applet.
If the remote database is using SQL Auth, you can update the password using BESAdmin.exe as described at https://help.hcltechsw.com/bigfix/9.5/platform/Platform/Installation/c_defining_db_password.html
