a way to prevent client deletion

Hello, everyone!

Please tell me, I think many people have encountered the problem that the user can easily uninstall the BigFix client.

In this regard, I have a question, is there any way to make the client possible to uninstall by password that is prescribed in the configuration or something else.

Do you have any other options to make uninstalling the client not so easy for the user?

Thank you for your answers!

You can think of a Windows Policy that will re-install it. Uninstalling it should leave the registry entries, so a re-install should not reset the client…

Task 713 in the BES Support site will hide the client from the Add/Remove programs list. That won’t prevent a user from uninstalling it but will make it harder for them to do it.

I need to make sure that the end user cannot easily uninstall the client, and not only on Windows, but preferably on MacOS

We usually handle this through HR discipline.

Can you give me a link to it, please?

It is in the BES Support site in your console or WebUI.
