Just as title says, does anyone know a way to keep the little yellow “Action completed successfully…” balloon/tooltip in system tray visible for a while? Right now it fades away after few seconds and users sometimes miss it and are not sure if installation finished or not, especially when reboot is not needed.
Pardon if this is something trivial, I searched around but wasn’t able to find anything on the topic.
I believe the balloon message is controlled by the operating system and we can’t change its behavior… (or at least we haven’t figured out how to do it yet…)
Which message are you using? The “message while running”?
Thank you for replying. I was referring to a yellow “Action/Task completed successfully…” tooltip that pops up in the system tray for a few seconds once an action finished running on a client machine.
The issue is that some actions don’t require reboot, and when they run, users don’t always pay attention and not sure if it succeeded or not - there’s no “Done” pop-up message at the end, only a tooltip that disappears very quickly.
