Im just starting into the Foray that is OS deployment and notice that one of the actions that became relevant was the deployment of 7Zip in the OS Deployment site…
This downloads and installs 7Zip V9.20 which was earlier this year, subject to
"two major security flaws found in the program, one which allows hackers to remotely execute code (basically run programs from afar), and the other one which can lead to heap corruption or buffer overflow."
Cant these be updated to at least 17 (now)… If we do deploy 9.20, can we update to the latest and then the rest of the fixlets and tasks that use 7zip still work… I know if I update , the older 9,20 deploy fixlet becomes relevant again…
