Hi,
Can anyone please confirm whether you can run 7.2.x clients on 7.1.x server and relays etc.
also advise which version of client is supported by Windows 7 & Windows Server 2008 R2.

Hi Andy,
We always recommend that you upgrade your server before upgrading your clients.
Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 are not officially supported yet, but when they are released it is likely whatever is the current version of the BigFix client at the time of release will support these OSes. We are actively testing against the latest builds as Microsoft releases them.

Note that the current version of the agent (7.2.4) appears to work just fine with Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 in all of our testing to date… The only caveat I know about is that the OS property reports “Unknown” for Windows 2008 R2.
And we do officially support 7.2 clients with a 7.1 infrastructure, but Jesse notes that we do recommend you upgrade your server then relays then clients for best practices.
