Windows 7 Relevance with latest patches MS11-002

For some of the latest patches released by Microsoft MS11-002 we find that the relevance checks are not working as desired. This happens when the MS11-002 patch set is deployed through a baseline

  1. The Console shows Windows 7 systems as applicable.

  2. Within a few minutes, the console status shows “FAILED”.

  3. But if we check the “View Action Info” we find that the system is going through Evaluating phase and ends up with status “RESTART REQUIRED”.

  4. On restarting the system, we find that the action status as “FAILED”.

  5. On checking the fixlet again, we find that this time we see the system as “Not Relevant”

any pointers ?

I’m having trouble reproducing your issue. Can you elaborate:

  1. Is this issue for Win7 x86 or x64? Does it happen with other MS11-002 Fixlets?

  2. You said you deployed it via baseline. Have you tried just deploying the Fixlet itself?
