Could mobile device use 3G?
We found out when we test to close wifi.
TEM server show the device as offline.

Yes.
It shouldn’t matter whether the connection is 3G or WiFi, as long as the devices can reliably communicate with one of the management infrastructures below:
- TEM Relay (for Android devices with IBM Mobile Client installed)
- iOS MDM (for iOS Devices managed through TEM iOS MDM)
- Email servers (for devices managed through Lotus Traveler/MS Exchange).
The device is shown as offline at the TEM console because it has not checked in to its respected management infrastructure (as mentioned above) for a long time. Once the device checks in, it will be shown as online again.
