Why BESClientUI.exe and NTRScan.exe use index.dat?

Hi,

NTRScan.exe (BES Trend Micro) and BESClientUI.exe use index.dat on XP PC.

We have lot of problems with roaming profiles (duplicates profiles) and Microsoft ask me about the use of index.dat by BESClientUI.exe and NTRScan.exe.

I don’t know why BESClientUI.exe lock index.dat.

Did you have the same problem on your network ?

We use last versions of BES and TrendMicro.

It looks like both programs use an HTML control in the user interface and the HTML control lock index.dat as part of their resource pools.
