When and What scenarios Bigfix client changes its ID in console

Hi All, Facing a situation where I need to know what are the likely reasons for an Bigfix client to change its computer ID on console?

reinstallation, reverting from a VM snapshot are a couple which come to my head immediately.

Windows 10 channel upgrades appear to be causing clients to change their ID.

Sometimes upon agent upgrade. I usually see this happen on order of 1 for every 1000 upgraded clients.
