What are the possible error that will occur if the BigFix Agent install on 265,000 devices? Since each Relay can support up to 1000 Clients. Does it mean I need to install many Relays just so I can support the 265,000 Clients?
Frei, I suggest you take a look at the capacity planning guide for bigfix as bigfix “high scale” relays can support 5000 clients. But is more about where these devices are as well that defines how many relays might be needed. Yes, I’ve actually read some part of the capacity planning guide pdf I just wanted to know what possible errors will on these 265,000 clients.
If you would like to have a solid deployment and minimize the opportunity for errors, we do publish a checklist of recommendations.
In general, errors are either the result of infrastructure or workload/tuning. The guide helps to address both.
