WebUI not getting upgraded

We are running WebUI on the same server as the BigFix Server. According to the documentation, WebUI should be upgraded at the same time as the Server, but this doesn’t seem to be the case. I just discovered our 10.0.8.37 Server is running WebUI 10.0.1, which is the original version we installed.

Same thing is going on on our non-prod environment, except it’s running 10.0.5 WebUI. Anyone know how I can get the WebUI installer?

@RichCampbell, are you using the BigFix Installation Generator? If so, you’ll see the following option via the BigFix Installation Guide - Program Files (x86)\BigFix Enterprise\BES Installers\BESInstallationGuide\LaunchPad.exe

@gus. Thanks. I’ve been just downloading the Server installer and not sing the Installer Generator. I just pulled it down and got the WebUI updated.

You can upgrade the WebUI service using the BES Support fixlet as well.

Just to make it fully clear, the installer/fixlet will update the WebUI service executable that manages the start/stop of the service; the application upgrades are managed by the WebUI itself and it’s decoupled from the Root Server upgrades: https://help.hcltechsw.com/bigfix/10.0/webui/WebUI/Admin_Guide/c_manage_application_updates.html
