Web Reports No Longer Working After Upgrade

(imported topic written by rhoward91)

I upgraded my entire BigFix deployment to ver 8.x

All my other components work wonderfully except Web Reports. This is no longer accessible. I have removed the server and reinstalled just to make sure I did it right and still no luck

I get a general error of “Page not found”

I’ve added the port, I changed the redirect DNS (bigfix.csosa.gov to the actual name of the server and still nothing

I have checked – the dns name does ping and is resolvable to the vm servername

I didn’t change any database name or service names or anything during the upgrade – I need help ASAP as Web Reports is a vital part of our deployment

If it is time critical please call Support.

While the Forum is an excellent resource (and one we are proud of) it is not an official Support function.

Hi rhoward,

Were you able to get this problem resolved? If not, my suspicion is that this could be caused by a different web server on the same box binding to port 80, since Web Reports would not return a 404 “Page not found” error if you go to the default path or to /webreports.

Likely culprits for this are IIS or SQL Server Reporting Services.
