We upgraded Inventory from 11.0.6 to 11.0.7 this week. But following the upgrade the Update Schema command failed with “Something went wrong”. I’m working with support and we initially thought it was a failure in the SQL connection, but instead it appears as if the Inventory Web Server lost its SSL Certificate. We are going to setup a time to WebEx next week, but I was wondering if anyone knew how to reset the SSL certs on Inventory without using the Web Interface?
This will allow you to reset back to self signed certificate and after that you will be able to change the certificate
No matter what we tried, we could not recover. I reverted back to my snapshot and everything is working on 11.0.6, but discovered that its using a certificate for localhost. Not sure how that happened as I installed a new Cert in March. I was able to upgrade the Certificate to a third party SSL Certifcate and will try the upgrade again in a day or two.
