The Desktop machines should have the feature of WAKE on LAN in bios.and it should be enabled.
That’s it… From IEM Server side you need to make One machine in each subnet as Wake on Lan forwarder , so that if you send the WAKE on LAN request it will not broadcast .
Hope it helps… !!!
Thanks swap all your help
we need to Scheduled Wake-on-LAN functionality
but we don’t have Power Mgt Module…
You see the Designate wake on lan forwarder is in BESSupport.:
Can you enable the Power Management options in the License Dashboard?
Also, you need more than 1 machine to be designated as a wake on lan forwarder incase one of them goes offline or is asleep.
I generally designate ALL machines as wake on lan forwarders. You need at least 1 machines to be a Last Man Standing per subnet IF you need to wake machines during odd hours. If you only wake machines during normal operations, then you don’t need a Last Man Standing at all generally.
