I would like to create a report of VMs that are registered via the VMWare Management Extender. Some VMs have the BES agent installed, but most do not. I would like to include the “BES Computer” column like is shown in the “Guest VM Overview” dashboard in Virtual Endpoint Management for those that do have the agent. Can this column be created and populated via session relevance? It does not appear to be an existing property that I can simply include, unless I’ve missed it in my searching.
Take a look at the ‘Device Type’ property. It should return values such as “ESXi Hypervisor Virtual Machine” for the devices that are reported via the VMWare Management Extender.
You can leverage this property directly as a column, or in filters within Web Reports, or through session relevance as well.
Yes - I am using this column currently. What I’m trying to get is the hostname of the corresponding “agented” BES Computer, like is shown in the dashboard in Virtual Endpoint Management.
