Microsoft has a utility called Microsoft assessment and Planning Solution Accelorator which probes computers to determine their suitability to be virtualised onto Hyper V. It identifies suitable candidates and details reasons for those which fail. Bigfix most likely has this information already (or can access it). Is there a task or fixlet which performs a similar function?

Do you know if the utility has command line interface? If so, we could certainly deploy and run it and report on the results.

Otherwise, do you have any idea what exactly it looks at to determine suitability for Hyper V?
