(imported topic written by TKMQ_Henrik_Bytoft_Holm)

I have installed TEM agents on all my servers, and then I actived the Virtual Endpoint management all my virtual servers now shows up twice…

One instance by the TEM agent and One instance from the VEM… computername is the same, nut recieved properties differs…

Properties and device information should (imo) be merged…

how to fix?

I agree they also should be merged and that’s something we’re working with the platform team to provide eventually. We’d like to just present one computer object that has all the properties and all the available actions. Unfortunately, this is a rather large platform enhancement that will take some time to come out, so at this time there’s not a fix for this particular issue.

In the meantime the Virtual Machine Guest Overview dashboard should help you get a handle on computers in your deployment that have this duality. You can use it to check on the vCenter representation of the object as well as the TEM Agent representation of the object.
