Users unable to login to console after provide access

We have provided RDP access to users and provided console access. While launching console application few of them are getting as follows and unable to launch it.

Explorer.exe

The item referred to by this shortcut cannot be accessed. You may not have the appropriate permissions.

Not sure what is stopping them and how to resolve?
can anyone help on this.

Sounds like the shortcut being leveraged is not pointing to the correct location? Does the shortcut’s target point to the Console’s executable (and is it actually there?)

Just to be clear,this looks like a Windows issue and not a BigFix issue.

My first guess is that you’ve added the accounts to “Remote Desktop Users” so they have rights to logon via RDP, but you did not add them to “Users” so they don’t have access to \Program Files.

Yes, it is pointing to the same exe,
and moreover if they launch from start menu also, they are experiencing same issue.

Where I can add them to “Users”, what are the permissions need to be added to User group.?

Users groups is a local group on the computer.
