Is there any specific procedure for upgrading servers running in the DSA configuration? I’m going to be upgrading from 8.1 to 8.2 with servers with local databases. The manual upgrade fixlet is relevant, I’m just curious if there are other specific steps required.

I was told by our Bigfix tech support to lengthen the replication times between the DSA servers when you are going to do the upgrade. Once the upgrade is done on both sides you can reduce it back to what you were using before. I’ve done a few upgrades following that process and changing the time to 1 hr without an issue. Don’t think it would be a big deal if you didn’t do it but you can avoid some replication attempts when the DB server versions are not matched.
