I use the
UPDATE: Outdated Symantec Endpoint Protection Virus Definition Detected
fixlet to update some clients. I saw a new feature in the 7.2 changes that looked like it could be useful for this fixlet.
Added ability for “dynamically download payloads” that change after action authoring time (virus definition updates for example)
Is this feature able to be used when actioning the fixlet mentioned above?

Hey ggerling,
Yes. The dynamic downloads feature allows the platform to now support automatic definition updates… but… we will need to enable this in our Fixlet content first. We will start to support dynamic downloads with our Trend Micro CPM integration and we will move to other sites later (unfortunately, I have no dates for you).

Ben,
Sounds good.
I read somewhere about a utility that will automatically start a new action for situations like this. I couldn’t find it on http://support.bigfix.com/bes/install/downloadutility.html , do you know the utility I am refering to?

Hey Greg,
Yes. You can use the Action Regenerator at:
