Uninstall Bes client

Hi All,

I am using TROUBLESHOOTING: Uninstall BES Client fixlet to uninstall the besclient but still not uninstalling on some endpoints.

Did you have a look at the client logfiles?

Hi Matthias,

actually bes client is uninstalled successfully there is no folders in the endpoints, but next day /after sometime they are reporting in the console. Those are nutanix and vmware hosts.

Do you mean that the client still appears in the console, or that the properties (such as Last Report Time) are being updated?

If the former, the server has no way to know that the agent has been removed from the client and will continue to show the last known state in the console. You will need to remove the clients from the console yourself.

If he latter, that is odd. Possibly a backlog of reports on a relay, but it seems unlikely. I think you would need to open a support ticket for this.

after we uninstalled successfully and removed from the console the same computers are reporting to the console next day those are nutanix and vmware hosts

So some kind of reinstallation occurs by magic?

You should talk to your imaging team. They may have a static VM snapshot that gets rolled back each night, or.a GPO or startup script or some other tool reinstalling the BES Client.
