Unexpected behavior - not cached properly?

Seeing something a little odd on a Customer’s BES Web Reports.

Whenever a report is created, they are unable to click on either the “>” or Page numbers on the bottom (it’ll simply error with a blank explorer not found page), but if they physically enter a page number and ENTER, it’ll display the page fine.

More importantly though, I’m not 100% sure at the moment but I’m beginning to suspect that the reports are not showing ALL the data. Reporting on installed applications I can drill down to something common (WORD.EXE, for example) and find it only shown on something like 4 computers - when there are hundreds I’d expect to see listed and there’s no filtering enabled.

I’ve never experienced any problems like this myself, but as I’m about to do some more in-depth investigation, anyone have any suggestions or tests I can perform to confirm that the Web Reports are accurate and working ok?

Thanks.

Ahaaa…an update.

I believe this is an Internet Explorer security issue (in case anyone else sees this). The best bet is to make sure your IE is set to run the BES Reports in a “Trusted Zone”. There’s so many little security settings that IE puts on in an “Internet Zone” that it can really mess with BES Reports (especially if you’re unsure what IE Security settings have been enabled).

I configured my customer’s IE to run the BES Reports in a “Trusted Zone” and suddenly the pages are updating properly and I’m starting to see some meaningful results - I’ll check again tomorrow after the cache has had a chance to sort itself out.
