Unable to start BES services on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5

Hi,

I have tried installing BES agent 9.5.13 x86_64 on Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 but while starting the services i am getting below error.

Starting BigFix: BESClient: /opt/BESClient/bin/BESClient: /lib64/libc.so.6: version GLIBC_2.7' not found (required by /opt/BESClient/bin/BESClient) /opt/BESClient/bin/BESClient: /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: versionGLIBCXX_3.4.10’ not found (required by /opt/BESClient/bin/BESClient)

According to software.bigfix.com Oracle Linux is only supported at OEL6 and OEL7…that said, I don’t know whether it works at all, but at the very least you’ll need to install the listed glibc prerequisites based on the error messages.
