I’ve downloaded the just released DSS version 1.2.3, but when I try and install it I get the following error message.
“C:\Downloads\BigFix\Version 1.2.3\dss_sam_1.2.3.523.exe is not a valid Win32 application.”

I downloaded and installed that version yesterday. Maybe you have a corrupted download, and need to re-download it? Perhaps your copy is bad? What OS are you installing on?

i’ve tried downloading it to two different systems, the first beening the server currently running bigfix and DSS on Windows server 2003 64 bit and the other being a my desktop running Windows 7. In both cases, the download size was only 154KB.

So after trying three more systems, different OS’s, differenet browsers… It started working! I went back to my server and tried from there again and it worked from there also. So I don’t know if BigFix corrected something or not, but it’s now working and I able to download and install the file.
