HI All, please help me understand as I just reinstalled the Bigfxi agent on RHEL 7 machine and it got visible in console and then I changed its relay selection to automatic but I am not able to launch a custom action on it as it says “Computer name is invalid”. May I know why it shows message like that when server is visible in console and I can see its applicable fixlets and also the action to select relay automatically also completed.
Hi, as you mentioned reinstalled, can you check if you see 2 computers with the same name?
removed the dup record already.
you see this once you execute the action?
Tried with DNS and its working as I saw it to be reporting with DNS name.
