My problem is very similar to this post: http://forum.bigfix.com/viewtopic.php?id=1657
With my problem though, I can’t seem to find a resolution.
We have 1 main BES server. The only thing the main BES server talks with are our 40 internal relays.
We use the BES console via an RDP connection to this main BES server (we use the console that is installed locally on the main BES server). We will occasionaly get the “Unable to connect to socket during POST operation” error when submitting actions. If we click Exit on the error, open up the console again, and resubmit the action, it usually will go through.
Doing a netstat -aon on the server, I do not see a lot of TCP/IP connections from other hosts (usually just from the relays).
The SQL database runs on this same server as the BES Server services.
Does anyone know why this might be happening?
