Trueview 2013

(imported topic written by bigfix1191)

I am haivng some issues with this fixlet (baseline)

I have packed up .net 4 and C++2010. The fixlet also succeeds and DWG Trueview gets deployed as shown in the Logs

Relevant - Deploy DWG Trueview 2013 (fixlet:30593)

Not Relevant - Deploy DWG Trueview 2013 (fixlet:30593)

When i click on the Trueview icon it says:

“The System cannot open the device or file specified”

I am not sure where I am going wrong. My fixlet for Trueview is the following:

download http://localhost:52311/uploads/Trueview2013/trueview2013.tmp

continue if { (sha1 of it = “6715bd7a06456b324407ff73842b95536b94cf16”) of file “trueview2013.tmp” of folder “__Download”}

extract trueview2013.tmp

waithidden __Download\setup.exe /quiet /norestart

Based on this line:

At 11:26:07 +0000 - actionsite (http://retbgfix01.retail.int:52311/cgi-bin/bfgather.exe/actionsite)

Command succeeded (Exit Code=259) waithidden __Download\setup.exe /quiet /norestart (fixlet 30593)

The exit code COULD suggest that this is saying STILL_ACTIVE (which is one meaning of that value)

This could mean the setup is still running. Some setups spawn other processes to do the work (an MSI within the exe for example)

If you are using 8.2 or later then you can try this instead:

download http://localhost:52311/uploads/Trueview2013/trueview2013.tmp

continue if { (sha1 of it = “6715bd7a06456b324407ff73842b95536b94cf16”) of file “trueview2013.tmp” of folder “__Download”}

extract trueview2013.tmp

override wait

completion=job

hidden=true

wait __Download\setup.exe /quiet /norestart

This will wait until the setup.exe has completed any spawned processes as well.

The other possibility is that the executable actually didn’t pay attention to the /quiet and that it is trying to display something.

No dice I am afraid.

The fixlet does not want to download. I am wondering if I am missing pre-reqs???

Anyone else on the forum packaged this up?
