Hi,
Is there a reason why 2 relays might generate network traffic between them if none of them is parent for the other (they have the same parent relay which is the main server?
Thank you!
Hi,
Is there a reason why 2 relays might generate network traffic between them if none of them is parent for the other (they have the same parent relay which is the main server?
Thank you!
How are you monitoring this traffic?
Is it trough the port 52311?
What type of traffic? ICMP? TCP? UDP? Port?
How much and how frequent is the traffic?
Sorry, I misunderstood the situation as the issue was formulated wrong.
We actually have a few devices that had a peak traffic usage on these 2 devices and this caused issues, users experiencing slow response and applications not responding.
The weird part is that we didn’t have any large deployments on any of these devices when the peak got signalled.
Any ideas what can we investigate on this?
On relays’ logs we had entries as seen below:
Mon, 22 Aug 2016 10:18:23 +0100 - PeriodicTasks (3184) - GetExpectedVersionOfParent Error: HTTP Error 56: Failure when receiving data from the peer: Recv failure: Connection was reset

PeriodicTasks (3184) - GetExpectedVersionOfParent Error: HTTP Error 56: Failure when receiving data from the peer: Recv failure: Connection was reset
Thank you!
Which port do you identify to be used during that overload?
The logs shows that also bigfix had problems to communicate to parent device
Are the relays Windows or Linux? Is the parent Windows or Linux?
All Windows. Port 52311
