Tivoli Endpoint Manager Analytics version 1.1.7 authentication type

I installed Tivoli Endpoint Manager Analytics version 1.1.7 yesterday on the same server that has TEM and Web Reports installed. During the installation I was never prompted to select authentication type. When I log into Web Reports I use NT Authentication. When I lo into TEMA it is using SQL Authentication. How can I change TEMA to use NT Authentication?

Hi mgardner28,

Are you referring to the method by which the TEMA server process authenticates to the database? If so, you can change this in the database.yml file for the install.

Or are you referring to the authentication method used when a TEMA user logs in to TEMA? In the current release, all TEMA users are local to the TEMA user directory or they can be authenticated to the Web Reports user directory (you’ll see this when you set up new users). It is neither SQL Authentication nor NT Authentication; it is TEMA-specific authentication.

Thanks for the response. I am talking about when a user logs into TEMA. I assumed that it would work the same as Web Reports.
