TCP/IP is enabled on SQL Server

We are running BigFix on SQL 2005 workgroup edition and wehn I run the BigFix diagnostics utility, it fails when Checking that TCP/IP is enabled on SQL Server? Can anybody point me in the right direction to fix this?

Hello deanmorris38,

Launch SQL Server Configuration Manager. Under SQL Server 2005 Network Configuration> Protocols for MSSQLSERVER insure that TCP/IP is enabled.

I have checked TCP/IP is enabled and BigFix seems to working with the clients. I can connect to the database remotely. Just can’t clear the diagnostic error
