Hi,
I’m trying to get a true or false from this, but instead I get.
Q: exists ip interface whose (gateway of it = “192.168.1.1”) of network
E: The operator “gateway” is not defined.
I pilfered my version this from the BigFix fixlet authoring page.
Thanks!

Either of these will work on Windows. Not sure if there’s some advantage to phrasing it one way or the other. I don’t see any documentation for inspectors to pull gateway on a Mac, which seems weird?
exists gateways whose (it = "192.168.1.1") of adapters of network
exists adapters whose (gateway of it ="192.168.1.1") of network

The Mac is proving hard to get that information out of, but hopefully it will be added at some later point
You might be able to use this linux approach:

I suggest you create an analysis to handle the data collection. You can then select the results and copy the them into the paste buffer for post-processing in Excel. One possible challenge is that a machine might have multiple gateways defined. It will be easy to identify any other outliers.
As a side note, a cloned Linux VM will get an eth1 interface, when the source VM had an eth0 interface. This may be why you’re seeing a handful of eth1 interfaces in your environment.
