SUA unable to detect installed software on system

Hi All,

We are facing some issues that sua is not able to fetch the installed software on some of the machines. It is only showing ibm endpoint manager client as installed software but not showing other installed software. Could you please help me to rectify the issue. I would be really thankful for any kind of help.

I am also attaching the snapshot from sua for one on the machine.

I assume this is UNIX. Can you give me example of what software do you expect to discover?

What version of SUA are you using? I will check catalog if it contains software you are looking for.

Hi Michal,

I have checked the software signature for oracle database 11.2 in catalog, I found that signature is there in catalog for this. But still SUA is not able to detect this as an installed software for any machine however in scan data, I am to see the path and files for the machines having oracle database installed.

If you could help me in this regard, I would be really thankful to you for your kind support

Hi Niraj - did you run Common Inventory Toolkit scan fixlet from SUA fixlet site?

SUA 2.x has 2 scanners - ITSIT and CIT. Both have to be running for complete inventory data in SUA.
