When I open the power management dashboard today I see some strange results.
I try again without the cash (option reload from database in the file/preference menu), but the values are still strange.
How can this be true for example:
Average computer powered-on time per day 2 days, 14:28:00 - (260% of a day)
That´s really hard to believe!
On other occations the power consumption where at about 24% in the powermetric bar, but all of a sudden it gone up to 100%. And won’t change even if I set the power consumption of the workstations to fake figures.
The power management settings are time sensitive and if there were some clock changing issues, you would potentially see problematic results… How many computers are you tracking power on and for how long?
To debug further, we would want to look at the “Power Monitoring Analysis” and figure out why the agents recorded “total powered-on time” that was longer than “time since tracking began”… Or, if you want to try to just resolve the issue, it will probably work to run the “Reset Power Statistics” Task that will make the agents reset their tracking stats.
Thanks for your reply. Any clock changing should not have happend as far as I know. I’ve been tracking around 1200 computers since January 2007.
I’ll export the power tracking analyse and after that I’ll try with the reset task and if it does not help I’ll send the analyse to you for to examine.
