Stopped and deleting "Old" manual group actions

(imported topic written by MrFixit)

Is there any concern with stopping the “open” actions that were related to a manual groups that have been removed long ago and the action remains open.

Also is there a report that anyone has or way to easily identify what open actions may not be really be necessary any more. Like unsubscribes, and assign and revoke management rights. I suspect that once you have been able to hit 100% of your systems with the change you can stop and delete these.

thanks,

Hey Gary,

You should be OK removing open group actions if they are no longer used… You can also use the health check dashboard to check for unnecessary actions…

But be very careful with the subscribe/unsubscribe and assign/revoke actions… They are required for new computers that may come online and they are not expected to be removed and you can break things if you remove them…
