SQL as Service- Azure(Installation)

Hi Team,
We are trying Fresh Installation for a client with 15000 Endpoints and we are using Azure for deployment.

my concern is can we use SQL as service(by Azure) in Installation.

I think that is still not a supported configuration, as DB performance is critical to the performance of the deployment as a whole. But do please let us know how it goes for you.
