Hi ,
we upgraded our webui yesterday with “update webui database configuratin” task. some of clients device name not showing in webui. we have 27k client and only 80 client’s device name not showing in webui . Client’s are alive in console. if i uninstall/install client agent, i can see device names.
our version is 9.5.6
after click show detail tab;
we can see dns names but device names not showing.
Hey swiars, that’s super super interesting.
Do you know what the actual device names are actually supposed to be? Like they show up in the BigFix Console right?
Do these happen to be non-English device names by any chance?

yes supposed to be like bigfix console.
I checked but there is no non-english device names.
After clicking show details, i saw dns names,ip address and they are normal. But still device name not showing. there is no error on webui logs.
I think this is almost certainly a but that we’ll want to follow up on and dive deeper with you. Can you raise a support ticket so we can officially get this in the books?
Whatever Swiars and the devs find, we’ll post back here on the forums to let folks know what was up.
