SOLVED: Impact of the 'of active directory' inspector

Greetings,

I need to create relevance that will only be true on devices that are in AD. I was thinking that I could accomplish this with the following relevance:

exists distinguished name of local computer of active directory

I’m concerned however, will this create extra load on my domain controllers?

Don’t worry about it. The BES Client caches AD information. When you query “of Active Directory” it is actually looking at the cache information.

I believe the default update frequency for AD information is 12 hours for performance reasons. You can adjust this with a Client setting but be careful!
