Hi ygarti,

Do you have BigFix Power Management Fixlet site subscribed?

You can look at the Tools menu and choose Manage Sites. You should see a BES Power Management Site listed.

Another way is to look at Dashboards menu for Power Tracking Information.

Great! You’re in luck. There are a few things you need to setup to make sure power management features work correctly. They are all listed in the setup guide: http://support.bigfix.com/product/documents/PM_Setup.pdf

Once its configured you can wake up computers on your network (as long as you have a Last Man Standing) at any time you specify and push out patches or other fixlets.

I don’t know of any way to deploy something to a specific AD group, but I do know you can target computers that are in a specific OU, by using the right retrieved property when targeting the action.

Hi ygarti,

Also look at the “Wake from Standby” wizard in the doc that Jim referred to… It will let you schedule wake-ups for your computers that are sleeping…
