Skype 5.x Download Fails

The “Skype 5.1 Available” fixlet fails to download. The error is the result of the SHA1 being wrong.

The fixlet has the value 7a72834e6c256b3ba0a8cdfd51aa4c96f8deac7d and the correct value is eb5f820cfd8cf18a9cf5a82b44a75bc35813c794.

Also, Skype has a business edition which supports settings and policies being applied.

Please consider looking at the corporate version which is MSI based and can be controlled by Group Policy, Registry Settings and / or XML.

What we would like to see is BigFix detecting the regular version and being able to replace it with the corporate version.

The Skype business version is something we can definitely look into. The skype fixlet we have right now just got updated to the right Sha1 value so try giving it another shot.
