We attempted to deploy the latest release of Skype (5.8.31.156) to our environment, but recieved failures on all tested computers. The issue seems to be related to a key created for “Skype Click to Call” in the uninstall hive of the registry. This can be solved by adding “™” after Skype (see below). I have created a custom copy and modified the action in order for us to patch. If anyone else has this issue, this is likely why. Hopefully this can be resolved soon by IBM.
