Should we use different "licence authorization files" for different deployments?

Hi

I have deployed the BigFix platform + ILMT server into Development environment. We now need to go to Staging and then into Production environment.

Would you recommend using a brand new installation for each environment, meaning creating a new licence authorization file for each?

Adversely, could we use the same licence file in Staging and Prod, meaning using the same BigFix that was downloaded?

Yes… you definitely want to use a unique auth file for each installation. When you install using the auth file you end up with what is called a masthead and that is tied to your server name/IP. So you cannot use the same license/masthead/etc across multiple deployments.
